Guess who is blogging!!!
So for the longest time I have been planning to do this… putting down my thoughts on life, music, family and all. My sister in law encouraged me saying, I had so many “quotable quotes”, but you know semuroora pamwe aingo simbisa vatete. So here it goes, I am going to endevour to write “40 reflections” before I turn 40!!! I’m 3 days off target but anyway, what matters is I have started right…..Pray for me!
One of the biggest challenges I face is started something! Once the ball gets rolling, the burden is there, but much lighter. For me, starting a song, getting to start practicing an instrument, a business, a WhatsApp group 🤪 etc requires a bit more effort.
Most times it’s the fear of the unknown that keeps us from branching out….
“What if it doesnt work out”,
“what of they don’t like it”,
“what if I make a fool of my self”
BUT….
What if it actually works out?!
What if they like it?!
What if you make a lesser fool out of yourself?!😅😅
Fear is the absence of FAITH. After David was done crying, he encouraged himself in the Lord and did what he set to do. Motivate, encourage and strengthen yourself to start.
Guess what, not everything that you shall start is going to work out to perfection. However, every time spent on an unsuccessful project is a step towards the successful one!
Well, seems I’m going on and on but this is just the first one. Let me end here….
Isaiah 41:10 says “So do not fear, I am with you… I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
My song reference today is Amazing God! The very first song I recorded. Just so you know it wasn't the first song I wrote….. it was the first recording and Im sure you can tell I was a bigger rookie!!

I encourage you to start! With whatever you have! Starting is hard, the status quo is hard...choose your hard.
