DAY 5

We live in the scrolling generation. I remember a time Instagram would alert that you have caught up with everything, but not anymore... you can be scrolling til the cows come home…. or will they?? More and more, we have become addicted to our gadgets. As much as we find useful information, we also have been bombarded by a lot of falsehoods.
It doesn’t take a lot to be misled or reconditioned. Subtle messages that we entertain in laughter and nod our heads to can shape our thought process. Recently, I learnt that DISCERNMENT is the difference what is right and almost right. Truth may be distorted with 1% being untrue.
Our feeds no longer just “feed” us with what we follow its everything and anything “that might interest you”. Information is constantly at our fingertips, true and untrue. Can I pick the difference?
The Word encourages us to seek spiritual gifts, in this day and age desiring discernment as a spiritual gift becomes an absolute need.
James 1:5 Let anyone who lacks wisdom ask God who gives liberally. The gift of wisdom/discernment is just an ask away.
And the song for the day is definitely SOMLANDELA!
